Dr. Hayden Joins the Standard Process Educational Team
On October 27-28, 2025, Dr. Chase Hayden participated in the Standard Process Speaker Cohort Summit held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This exclusive event brought together health educators and leaders from across the country who share a passion for teaching evidence-informed, whole food–based nutritional strategies.
As a new member of the Standard Process Educational Team, Dr. Hayden will be speaking nationwide—helping doctors and healthcare professionals better understand how to support hormonal balance, metabolic health, and overall wellness through nutrient-dense, whole food-based and herbal solutions.
Inside the Standard Process Farm and Manufacturing Tour
The summit began with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Standard Process farm and manufacturing facility, located just outside Milwaukee in Palmyra, Wisconsin. We had the opportunity to see firsthand how organic farming practices, careful processing, and nutrient preservation are woven into every step of the company’s production process. It was a great experience being able to access parts of the manufacturing facility that we have only ever seen on YouTube videos.
From the vibrant green fields of alfalfa, buckwheat, and beets on the certified organic Standard Process farms, to the state-of-the-art labs where these ingredients are transformed into supplements, the tour highlighted the company’s unwavering commitment to “whole food nutrition from seed to supplement.”
The day concluded with a group dinner and roundtable discussions—an inspiring opportunity for collaboration among educators, clinicians, and Standard Process leadership. Conversations centered on how functional medicine principles and nutritional literacy can continue to transform modern healthcare. It is exciting being on a team that is leading the future of healthcare with organic based, whole food nutritional supplements while maintaining the legacy that Dr. Royal Lee started in 1929.
Education, Innovation, and Storytelling in Healthcare
On Tuesday, Dr. Hayden and the other participants gathered for a series of sessions that blended scientific research, clinical application, and educational best practices.
- Education Strategy and Clinical Communication – Exploring how to effectively teach complex topics like endocrine physiology, digestive function, and nutrient synergy in ways that resonate with both practitioners and patients.
- Innovations in Research and Manufacturing – Led by Standard Process’ Nutritional Innovation Center (NIC), attendees learned about ongoing research into phytochemical profiles, whole food nutrient bioavailability, and the science behind the company’s product formulations. The NIC is responsible for publishing peer reviewed research papers that demonstrate the clinical efficiency of whole food based nutrition such the following white papers: E-Z Mag, Hemp Oil Complex
- Marketing and Event Strategy – Guidance on building awareness around educational events while maintaining the integrity of evidence-based clinical content. Dr. Hayden will be focusing on continuing education events that count toward board recertification and licensure.
- The Science of Storytelling – A workshop focused on connecting with audiences through patient stories, case studies, and real-life clinical applications. (Nothing is worse than attending a class and being bored to tears!)
These sessions emphasized that successful education in healthcare isn’t just about data—it’s about human connection, clear communication, and empowering others to make sustainable health changes.

A Moment of Reflection in the Royal Lee Library
One of the most meaningful moments of the summit came as Dr. Hayden spent time in the historic Royal Lee Library—a quiet archive of the original letters, correspondences, and notes from Dr. Royal Lee, the founder of Standard Process. Generally the library materials are for display only and rarely do individuals have an opportunity to remain long enough to browse the materials, let alone spend enough time to dig through the resources. It was a really big deal!
Dr. Lee’s writings reflected his pioneering belief that food is the foundation of health, and that the closer we stay to nature’s design, the more resilient the human body becomes. For Dr. Hayden, this experience served as a reminder that today’s functional and integrative medicine movement stands on the shoulders of those early innovators who recognized the body’s innate intelligence.
Looking Ahead: Whole Food Education on a National Stage
This summit marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as Dr. Hayden joins the Standard Process Educational Team on their national speaking circuit. Currently, Dr. Hayden is scheduled to speak in Oklahoma, Arizona, Utah, California, Colorado, and Texas. Through upcoming seminars, workshops, and clinical education events, he will be sharing insights on:
- Supporting hormonal and adrenal balance through nutrient-dense foods and targeted supplementation
- Restoring metabolic function with evidence-based, whole food strategies
- Bridging functional medicine and chiropractic care for a truly integrated approach to wellness
As always, Dr. Hayden’s goal is to help practitioners and patients alike reconnect with the healing potential of food, using a combination of clinical nutrition, functional testing, and neurological rehabilitation to restore balance and vitality.
