Quantum Neurology Homecoming Weekend Recap

Quantum Neurology® (QN) is a unique form of nervous system rehabilitation that helps the body restore strength, movement, and healing potential. Instead of focusing only on muscles and joints, Quantum Neurology looks at the nerves that control every function in the body. When nerves are supported and re-trained, patients often notice improvements in areas like balance, coordination, memory, energy, and recovery from injuries.

Quantum Neurology for Patients – even without “major” neurological imbalance

Many people live with symptoms that traditional testing doesn’t fully explain. Headaches, concussion symptoms, chronic pain, or even brain fog can linger despite “normal” scans or lab results. Quantum Neurology gives practitioners tools to detect subtle nerve stress and gently activate the body’s own healing systems.

Dr. Elissa Ellerbrock with Lori and Dr. George Gonzalez – Founder of Quantum Neurology

At The Hayden Institute, Dr. Chase Hayden and Dr. Elissa Ellerbrock use QN daily alongside chiropractic and functional medicine to help support a variety of imbalances. Patients in our office range from athletes recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, and concussion, to athletes looking to enhance athletic performance. Other patients present to the office with complex health challenges who feel like they’ve “tried everything else.” Through the use of Quantum Neurology (and the other supportive evaluation techniques our practitioners use) we are support the various nerves that are activated with sympathetic and parasympathetic balance, digestive activity, sleep regulation, hormonal irregularaties, and more.

The 2025 Quantum Neurology Homecoming Weekend

This summer, practitioners from around the country gathered in Denver, Colorado, for the annual Quantum Neurology Homecoming. The weekend included advanced workshops, research updates, and inspiring stories of patients who have benefited from this work. One practitioner even came into town from Hong Kong. It wasn’t just about new techniques though, the event celebrated a growing community of clinicians committed to helping patients recover more fully and live with better neurological health.

Dr. Hayden presented on the use of magnets and light therapy in neurological rehab—tools that can quickly improve nerve recognition and strength. One of the guiding principles of Quantum Neurology is that the body can only heal and strengthen functions it is aware of—if a nerve pathway is not functioning in an optimal way, or the body has compensated from an injury, illness, or condition, then the “hidden” imbalance remains, and the body cannot fully support it. Dr. Hayden’s presentation focused on ways to incorportate specific manual muscle testing, high strength magnets, and the GRTLite as a way to dive deeper into the patient presentation, and find these “hidden” weaknesses. Dr. Ellerbrock also attended the QN Homecoming and was able to connect with other leaders in the field, building relationships that bring fresh insights back to the clinic, and honing her skills. It is exciting to know that we are one of the few offices in the counrty with practitioners that are both proficient in Quantum Neurology rehabilitation.

Dr. Hayden’s New Recognition: Master Practitioner Status

A special highlight of the weekend was Dr. Hayden being recognized as a Quantum Neurology Master Practitioner (QNMP). Previously a Certified Practitioner (QNCP), this new designation reflects a higher level of training and mastery.

  • Certified Practitioners (QNCPs) are trained in the core methods of Quantum Neurology, learning to evaluate and support nerve function through light, vibration, and neurological exercises.
  • Master Practitioners (QNMPs) go beyond the basics, completing advanced coursework and demonstrating proficiency with complex cases, cutting-edge tools, and specialized applications of the work.

This achievement underscores Dr. Hayden’s long-standing commitment to refining his skills and offering patients the highest quality of neurological care.

Lights, Camera, Quantum Neurology

Another exciting development from the Homecoming weekend was the announcement of a Quantum Neurology documentary now in production. This film will tell the story of how Quantum Neurology began, highlight the science behind the techniques, and feature inspiring patient stories from around the world. Practitioners will also share their own experiences of helping people recover function and quality of life that many thought was lost forever.

Dr. Hayden was honored to be interviewed for the project—so patients may soon see a familiar face on the big screen when the film is released! More than just entertainment, the documentary represents a powerful step toward bringing awareness of Quantum Neurology to a wider audience.

Equally important is the growth of the Quantum Neurology Research Foundation. This nonprofit initiative is dedicated to validating QN through clinical research, ensuring that the methods practitioners use every day are supported by strong scientific evidence. By building a foundation of published studies and measurable outcomes, QN can continue to expand its credibility within the broader medical and wellness communities.

Supporting the Research Foundation through donations doesn’t just fund studies—it helps spread awareness of functional neurological rehabilitation around the globe. Every contribution plays a role in ensuring more patients have access to this life-changing care. For those who feel inspired, more information about supporting the Foundation can be found here: Quantum Neurology Research Foundation

Closing Thoughts

The 2025 Homecoming reinforced what many patients already know—healing is possible when the nervous system is given the right support. It is something we are privileged to witness every day at The Hayden Institute. A common message we hear from patients is that they wish thier friends would believe them when they refer them to our office. After all, for anyone seeking a new way to address stubborn symptoms, Quantum Neurology offers an encouraging path forward, and at The Hayden Institute, Dr. Hayden and Dr. Ellerbrock are ready to help.
