ABOUT Liz Taylor

Liz - The Hayden Institute

Certified Holistic Nutritionist

Liz Taylor is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist with an advanced Diploma in Holistic Nutrition from the Edison Institute of Nutrition, along with studies in Marriage, Family, and Human Development at Brigham Young University. Raised in Hawaii, Liz was drawn from a young age to the connection between body, mind, lifestyle, and whole food nutrition.

In addition to her nutritional training, Liz is The Hayden Institute’s Heart Sound Recorder (HSR) Specialist. She uses this non-invasive tool to observe subtle heart rhythm changes that reveal nutritional needs in real time. She also provides Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), which helps clients release stress patterns that often stand in the way of physical healing. By blending functional assessments, targeted nutrition, and lifestyle strategies, Liz is able to uncover root causes and support whole-body wellness.

Liz’s path into holistic health really took off as a patient at The Hayden Institute, where she discovered the hope and healing that holistic care could bring in her personal life.

Liz joined the Hayden Institute team in 2019 starting out as a front desk assistant, a decision she describes as life-changing both personally and professionally.

Her compassion for clients is also shaped by her own health journey. Liz has personally navigated multiple autoimmune conditions, severe postpartum depression and anxiety, and the challenges of endocrine imbalance and cortisol dysregulation. These experiences brought with them seasons of weight gain and weight loss struggles—giving her firsthand understanding of how overwhelming and isolating health challenges can feel. Because of this, she offers not only clinical expertise and training but also real life experience and genuine empathy for clients who are fighting to feel like themselves again.

Over the years working at The Hayden Institute, Liz has witnessed countless stories of transformation while also supporting her husband through cancer recovery and guiding her five children through their own wellness needs. These personal and professional experiences continue to shape her compassionate, client-centered approach.

Alongside her clinical work, Liz continues to serve as the Office Manager, where she combines her leadership skills with her clinical expertise to support the practice’s mission of whole-person healing.

Clients often describe her as approachable, encouraging, and deeply invested in their success. Her work is rooted in the belief that no one should walk their health journey without hope or support. Liz helps clients build lasting nutritional foundations and take control of their own health.

Outside the office, Liz is devoted to her family and her faith. She and her husband are raising five children, two crazy dogs and balancing busy schedules with intentional moments of joy and connection. She loves to cook, bake, and invent new, delicious gluten-free recipes. She finds joy in helping other people be able to implement healthy changes for their own families.
