Doctor Of Chiropractic
Dr. Erica Extine was born and raised in a small town in Ohio, where she developed a love for nature, animals, and spending time outdoors. A country girl at heart, she enjoys gardening, fishing, horseback riding, and being near the water. Her appreciation for the outdoors and her desire to help others have played an important role in shaping her approach to health and wellness.
Dr. Extine attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Throughout her education, she developed a passion for understanding how the different systems of the body work together and how chiropractic care can support overall health and function.
Her approach to patient care focuses on the whole person rather than simply addressing individual symptoms. She considers structural, neurological, biochemical, and emotional factors that may contribute to a patient’s health concerns. Recognizing that no two patients are alike, she emphasizes individualized care and helping people better understand their bodies.
Dr. Extine incorporates a variety of chiropractic and complementary techniques into her work, including Applied Kinesiology, Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), Quantum Neurology, Contact Reflex Analysis, and BioSystems Integration. She enjoys exploring how these different approaches can complement one another while helping patients work toward their individual health goals.
One of her greatest interests is empowering patients to become active participants in their healthcare. She believes that taking time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and explain the reasoning behind their care helps create a more positive and collaborative experience.
Outside the office, Erica enjoys baking, watching period dramas, and spending time enjoying nature and beautiful sunsets. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Houston community as part of The Hayden Institute team and looks forward to helping patients on their individual health journeys.
