Houston Chiropractors Organize Food Drive for Cypress Assistance Ministries

The doctors at The Hayden Institute collected over 380 pounds of food in honor of the late Joan Christiansen, former Director of Cypress Assistance Ministries

Houston, Texas: Houston natives and doctors of chiropractic, Chase and Reece Hayden recently organized a food drive for Cypress Assistance Ministries, recruiting assistance from patients of their medical practice, The Hayden Institute. The food drive was coordinated in honor of the late Joan Christiansen, the former Director of Cypress Assistance Ministries and a patient at the northwest Houston office location.

“This year’s food drive was a great success. We decided to do something special to honor a great friend of the office. Joan was very special to all of us at The Hayden Institute, and it was a pleasure to support Cypress Assistance Ministries, a place that was so dear to Joan’s heart,” reported Dr. Chase Hayden, clinician at the northwest Houston office. “It was impressive to see the level of participation in our Friendswood office,” said Dr. Reece Hayden of the Friendswood location. “Everyone I spoke to seemed to rally around the food drive, and they were excited to contribute to such a good cause,” he continued. The Hayden Institute was able to donate over 380 pounds of food to Cypress Assistance Ministries in honor of Joan.
