About Amber Horsley

Dr. Amber Horsley was born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She has a lasting love for the mountains and thrives in the outdoors. She loves all things hiking, camping, paddle boarding, yoga, and disc golf. She met her husband, Nate, in high school through their mutual love of music. Amber plays the violin and was in All-State Orchestra for 3 years, and in several select singing groups during her high school and undergraduate career.

After graduating high school, Amber began her undergraduate studies at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. There she completed a bachelor’s of science in Pre-Professional Health and received a minor in Psychology. After completing their undergraduate degrees, Amber and her husband moved down to Houston. At this point Amber started her schooling at Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) and Nate began his career as an engineer with LyondellBassell.

Amber graduated from TCC in April 2018 as the Valedictorian of her class. Additionally, while in school, she was the president of the Nutrition Club and secretary of the Pediatrics Club. In addition to her course work, she attended numerous post-graduate courses in neurology and nutrition. She has accumulated over 500 post-graduate hours in functional nutrition, 100+ hours in Applied Kinesiology and 100+ hours in Acupuncture. She also competed on the winning teams of several academic competitions during her schooling. She embraces her future as a life long student and is passionate about learning and furthering her knowledge in alternative and functional medicine.
