Dr. Reece Hayden is a sixth generation Texan, and was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas on the southeast side of Houston. After a diagnosis of dyslexia at an early age, Reece’s parents began searching for ways to help their son improve in reading and comprehension. Their search introduced Reece to the field of complementary and alternative medicine. Through the techniques and rehabilitative exercises that were used with him, Reece developed a love and desire to help others that were diagnosed with learning disabilities as he overcame his own. As recent graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, Reece earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic with an emphasis in Acupuncture (meridian therapy).
Dr. Reece is a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, TX. As a youth, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America where he earned his Eagle Scout award. He was also active on the soccer team and in the school’s orchestra program. After graduation, he volunteered two years of his life as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. During his two year period in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico Reece became fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Reece earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas Chiropractic College. After completing his Bachelor degree, he continued at the school, and earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic and certification in Acupuncture from Texas Chiropractic College. In addition to these degrees and certifications, he has also studied Quantum Neurology rehabilitation and clinical nutrition through post-graduate courses.
Dr. Reece and his wife, Linda, have a daughter that was born in June 2012. They currently reside in the Sagemont area of Houston.
